Cruise Ship of the Month Highlight: January 2013 (Celebrity Reflection)

Here we are in the first month of the year so you know what that means, right? Yup, back to the cruise ships of the month! So without further delay, let's get acquainted with January's cruise ship of the month, Celebrity Reflection!

For starters, what do y'all think of the name? Interesting choice, don't you think? She is an interesting ship (in a good way of course), so I think the name is appropriate. Oh and that horn! Nice, right? Recently issued into service October 12, 2012, Celebrity Reflection has already been the latest show stopper in the cruise industry. My friends Marian Krueger (@TravelShopGirl) and Doug Parker (@CruiseRadio) have joined in with the thousands who've sailed her with nothing but praises! Celebrity Cruises has done it again! It seems their Solstice Class vessels have been a huge hit with many and with Celebrity Reflection being the latest vessel in this class, she's bound to be a favorite with many!

Celebrity Reflection weighs in at 126,000 gross tons, is 1,047 feet long and blazes through the high seas at the lightening cruise ship speed of 24 knots. Talk about a cruise ship that's fully loaded, whew, this ship has got it all! One cool feature of this vessel is the Aqua Class Suites she sails with (34 to be exact). As an Aqua Class guest, you'll get access to Celebrity's sea-famous restaurant, Blu, for both breakfast and dinner. Be sure to check out a painting class on the Lawn Club and after you have put a few strokes on canvass enjoy the luxury of grilled favorites in the Lawn Club Grill.

Want to know where you can find Celebrity Reflection? She'll be spending spring and summer months in Europe conducting longer cruises to the Eastern Mediterranean (about 10-11 nights long). While her fall and winters will be spent in the Caribbean-- she'll do week-long cruises from Miami sailing to Eastern Caribbean ports of call.
